Veteran artists appear at fair, fest

Tickets are now on sale for headline concerts during the Florida State Fair in Tampa Feb. 8-19 and the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City March 1-11.

Stevie Nicks is the big show during the fair. Tickets to her Feb. 9 concert in the Ford Amphitheatre at the fairgrounds are $35 to $65 plus fair admission.

Most of the other fair headliners perform in the Entertainment Hall and are $5 plus fair admission: Reel Big Fish on Feb. 8; 1964 . . . The Tribute, Feb. 11; Bennie Anderson & the Drifters, Feb. 13; Cornell Gunter's Coasters, Feb. 14; Mickey Gilley, Feb. 16; Davy Jones of the Monkees, Feb. 17; and Ronnie Milsap, Feb. 18. The Country Gold Tour with Grand Ole Opry stars including T. Graham Brown and T.G. Shepherd is Feb. 15 and costs $10.

At the Strawberry Festival, stadium seats are free on a first-come basis for all 4 p.m. shows and for the 7:30 p.m. Oak Ridge Boys concert March 8; reserved seats for those shows are $10 and $15.

The 4 p.m. shows are George Jones, March 1; Barbara Fairchild and Bill Anderson, March 2; Mark Lowry, March 3; Joe Nichols, March 4; Lee Greenwood, March 5; Ray Price, March 6; Little Richard, March 7; Oak Ridge Boys, March 8; John Anderson, March 9; Bellamy Brothers, March 10; and Josh Turner, March 11.

Tickets are necessary for all other 7:30 p.m. shows.

The lineup includes Clint Black, March 1 ($15 and $20); Gretchen Wilson, March 2 ($20 and $25); Casting Crowns, March 3 ($10 and $15); Martina McBride, March 4 ($25 and $30); LeAnn Rimes, March 5 ($15 and $20); Randy Travis, March 6 ($10 and $15); Kenny Rogers, March 7 ($10 and $15); Big & Rich, March 9 ($20 and $25); Hootie & the Blowfish, March 10; and Montgomery Gentry, March 11.
