Themed New Year's party at Pavilion

The Clearview Oaks/Paradise Social Club will have a western themed New Year's Eve celebration at the Martha Ward Pavilion on Dec. 31. A meal will be provided followed by a live band for dancing or just listening.

When: Starts at 7 p.m. New Year's Eve.

LEALMAN

Community group meets in one week

The Lealman Community Association meets the first Wednesday of each month. Meetings are casual and use a town hall format.

"We encourage any Lealman resident to bring forward any issues that affect the welfare and improvement of Lealman," according to the group's Web site, which was set up to keep residents up to date on issues facing the community.

The meetings are regularly attended by representatives from Pinellas County, code enforcement and the Sheriff's Office, association leaders say.
