THROUGH JAN. 22 Nature Coast Festival Music is accepting applications for a choral conductor for the 2007-08 season. The 90-member group holds rehearsals from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays at Nativity Lutheran Church in Weeki Wachee and presents two concerts (three performances each) during the August through April season. Rehearsals are late August through early December and early January through Easter. A stipend is paid. Call Sandy Kaliscak at (352) 796-3291 for application form. Today Avenue Players Theatre will hold auditions for the Noel Coward comedy, Blithe Spirit, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art auditorium, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs (one-half mile west of U.S. 19). Roles are for two men ages 30 to 50 and four women ages 25 and older. Production dates are March 21 to April 1. Director is Diana Forgione. JAN. 5-27 Progress Energy Art Gallery and Greater New Port Richey Main Street will open an exhibit of whimsical paper sculptures by Kim Michelle Coakley with a reception for the artist from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 5. The exhibit, which is at the gallery at 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey, will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays (except first Fridays, when it opens from 6 to 9 p.m.). JAN. 5-29 An exhibit of fabric art by June Colburn will be at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 230 Grand Blvd., Tarpon Springs. The exhibit of fine art and wearable art made from Japanese kimonos opens with a reception at 2 p.m. Jan. 5 in the church's Forum Room. Ms. Colburn will give a lecture on fabrics and quilting at 1 p.m. Jan. 7 at the church. Exhibit hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays Jan. 5 through Jan. 27. Other times are by appointment. JAN. 7 The Joe Piscopo Show: The television, film, theater and nightclub comic will perform at a dinner show at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson.
