Clyde Butcher's gift for grandeur in capturing Florida landscapes has made his large black-and-white photographs instantly recognizable. Though long associated with the Sunshine State, he also has turned his lens west, to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and Pepperwood Redwood Forest in California. See 37 examples of his art, including Cayo Costa #3, shown here, at the Gulf Coast Museum of Art, 12211 Walsingham Road, Largo, through Jan. 28. (727) 518-6833.
