Notable: It's USF's second trip to Philadelphia in three weeks, having beaten Villanova in its Big East opener on Dec. 7. The Bulls will play Friday against either host St. Joseph's or Northeastern. ... Vermont has an upset of then-No. 22 Boston College among its wins. Its top scorers are freshman guards Courtnay Pilypaitis (12.6 points per game) and May Kotsopoulos (11.4), two of four Catamounts from Ontario. ... One key stat to watch will be rebounds, as the Bulls have a rebound margin of plus-7.4 per game, while Vermont's is minus-6.5. ... USF, playing for the first time in eight days, continues to be led by senior forward Jessica Dickson (19.8 ppg) and sophomore guard Shantia Grace (18.5). ...
