Mitchell extended its school-record unbeaten streak to 14 games with a 44-35 semifinal win over Manatee in the Willie Clemens tournament at Bradenton.

The Mustangs play Sarasota, which beat Lakeland Kathleen, in tonight's championship game at 7:30.

Joanna Bussa helped snap a halftime tie at 21 by scoring 12 of her 14 points in the second half.

"She did a great job handling the pressure," Mitchell coach Stephanie Koslin said.

Kristi Hopper led the Mustangs with 18 points, 12 of which came in the first quarter.
