First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin, 455 Scotland St., will host a discussion of The Faith Club, written by three women of three different faiths, at 7 p.m. Jan. 7 in the church library. Ranya Idliby, a Muslim; Suzanne Oliver, a Christian; and Priscilla Warner, a Jew, met at Idliby's home in New York City to write a picture book for their children. The experience, they write, enriched their own faith and led to a new understanding of others. The free program is open to people of all spiritual backgrounds. For information, call 733-7936.

Unitarian Universalists Church of Clearwater, 2470 Nursery Road: The Rev. Bob Shirer will reflect on the many meanings of New Year's Eve at the 9 and 11 a.m. services Sunday. Call 531-7704 or visit www.uuclearwater.org.

Unitarian Universalist Church of Tarpon Springs, 230 Grand Blvd.: "Look out, here comes 2007" is the title of guest speaker Dr. Eric Rhodes' sermon at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The service is followed by a coffee and social hour. Call 937-4682.

Unity Church of Clearwater, 2465 Nursery Road: The traditional New Year's Eve "burning bow" service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in which old issues are written down and thrown into a fire, symbolizing the release of the old year to make way for the new. Call 531-0992.

Temple B'nai Israel, 1685 S Belcher Road, Clearwater: Rabbi Arthur Baseman will lead a young children's congregation family service at 7 p.m. Jan. 5. The service is geared to children ages 4 to 8, but families with children of all ages are welcome. The program features singing and movement. After the service, there will be a special Oneg experience for the families. Call 531-5829.

Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 639 Edgewater Drive, Dunedin: A free health and wellness fair is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 6 in the church hall. The fair will include a bloodmobile, bike safety program with free children's bike helmets available from 9 to 11 a.m., the Pinellas County sheriff's children's identification program with thumb prints and photos for family records, martial arts demonstrations, face-painting, refreshments and prizes. Clearwater Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1445 Lakeview Road: A Dollar Thrift Shop 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday. All items except for the boutique are $1. Proceeds buy food given free to the needy at the church community center. Call 446-6427.

Mount Moriah AME Church, 722 S Disston Ave., Tarpon Springs: A free meal to anyone in need from 4 to 5 p.m. every Sunday. Volunteers should arrive by 2:30 p.m. The project is a joint effort of the church and Congregation B'nai Emmunah in Tarpon Springs. Call 938-9000.
