Gifted students group meets every month

Partners Allied for Gifted Education and Support holds meetings for families of gifted students at 6:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month in the cafeteria at Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Blvd. The first gathering of 2007 is Tuesday. For information, call Cindy at 597-3825.

Theater to present 'Charley's Aunt'

Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., will present the comedy Charley's Aunt, opening Thursday and running through Jan. 21. Tickets are $15. For information, call the box office at 683-5113.

NAACP schedules King celebration

The county branch of the NAACP will have its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration and Fellowship Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 15 at Kennedy Park, 899 Kennedy Blvd. The event will feature an old-time fish fry and entertainment.
