Transitions Discussed: Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa has its worship service at 11 a.m. Sundays. Today's service will be about Transitions. The service, presented by the Worship Committee, will be based on a traditional ritual from SWIM, the UU camp that meets each year in South Florida. Religious education for first through 12th grade is at 11:15 a.m. Child care is provided. The church is at 11400 Morris Bridge Road. Call 813 988-8188.

UU Service: Spirit of Life Unitarian Universalist Church begins its worship service at 10:45 a.m. today. Adult discussion is at 9:30 a.m. Also, children's activities and child care start at 9:30 a.m. Youth classes start at 10 a.m. A social hour is immediately after the worship service. Traditional and Contemporary Services: Grace Lutheran Church of Carrollwood has traditional worship service at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sundays. Contemporary worship service starts at 9:45 a.m., led by the Spirits of Fire praise band and vocalists. The church is at 3714 W Linebaugh Ave. Call (813) 961-8747.

Celebration Services/Knowing Your Purpose: The House of Prayer Church has the special services at 6 p.m. Sundays. The focus is on believing in God for a breakthrough in your health, finances, marriage or any area in your life. Also, a "Knowing Your Purpose" class is offered at 1:30 p.m. on the first and second Sunday of each month. Lunch and child care are provided. The church is at 710 Crenshaw Lake Road in Lutz. Genealogy Research: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints offers free research at the Tampa Family History Center, 7851 Lutz-Lake Fern Road. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Call (813) 926-3596.

Troops/Kids For Christ: The Youth Study Group called TROOPS, or Totally Relying on Our Perfect Savior, meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays at Christ Church A Cumberland Presbyterian Community in Lutz.
