How may times do we have to hear "We were in great position, we just didn't convert our chances" before someone admits that this team does not have the depth to win?

Tina is absolutely right, I regress. Not a wannabe GM, I've seen the job and d/n want it. But, imagine you're at Springfield looking up to this club. How's the view? Every shift, every game. Win.

With everybody so focused on the salary cap, no one realizes we have what we need to win. stop focusing on the "big" names and see the team as a whole. truth be told hockey is a team mentality. its not a solo thing. go back to basics and win games...

Watched last nights game on a French Canadian cable network. Didn't make any difference in the outcome of the game my not understanding the announcer.

It's time to say what the players won't. Where our best players are contributing an NHL team can't win consistently on the play of 5 or 6. That said, in a cap world the money left to pay the supporting cast isn't enough here to justify those 5 or 6

why should a minimum-paid player cough up $100 while a $7M player tosses out $100 with toast crumbs??

Anybody notice the sendoff Yzerman got from his bunch? Tap those wallets to enhance consistency. Richie can afford to start a fine fund for local kids. $100. for each missed blocked shot or soft goal or blown breakaway. Oops = C-note for kids.
