School Board set to meet Tuesday

Class Notes

The Pinellas County School Board will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the district administration building, 301 Fourth St. SW, Largo.

The public is invited to attend. Anyone wanting to speak must fill out a form at least five minutes before the agenda item is introduced. The meeting will be televised at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays for two weeks after the meeting date. All broadcasts are shown on WPDS-Ch. 14, which also appears on Knology Ch. 14 and Bright House Networks Ch. 14.

Menus

Elementary schools have a choice of one entree or cold sandwich and two fruits or vegetables, or salad plate meal and one fruit or vegetable. Meatless entree, chef salad and cold sandwich selection available daily. Both include choice of milk - low-fat, skim or skim chocolate - and bread or crackers and dessert when available.

Popcorn chicken or sausage on a bun with a salad and fruit.

Hamburger, macaroni and beef or a hot turkey sandwich with coleslaw and mashed potatoes.

Student Involvement Day. Menu to be chosen by a group of students at each individual school.

Breakfast for lunch or ribeque on a bun with fresh vegetables.

Pizza with tossed salad, steamed carrots and fruit.
