Pasco County sheriff's deputies are looking for two gunmen who robbed a gas station on State Road 52 near Interstate 75 on Saturday, according to reports. Robert Shipley, a clerk at Four Star Fuel Depot, told deputies that he saw one robber enter the store. The robber, armed with a black handgun, removed cash and checks from a register, then removed the entire cash drawer of another register, according to reports. Another clerk, Elizabeth Brensinger, was making coffee when the second robber pushed her behind the lunch counter and told her to lie down, according to reports. Both men were slender, wore all black clothing and hid their faces with ski masks. The first was 5 feet 8 inches tall, and the second was about 5 feet 2 inches tall, the report said. The robbers ran away, said sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin. Citing an open investigation, Tobin did not disclose how much money was stolen. Car dealer calls fees excessive A local car dealership has filed a complaint against the city of Port Richey. The complaint, filed Dec. 29 in 6th Judicial Court by Gateway Honda, 8442 U.S. 19, alleges that the $102,487 they paid for required building permit fees to construct the dealership in 2004 was excessive. Building official Ed Winch said the city lowered its building permit fees since 2005, after the dealership was built. Since building departments are self-sufficient and generate their own revenue for inspections and employee salaries, Winch said, they are allowed to raise or lower fees as needed. Jim Kristoff, Honda's general manager, declined to comment. Corrections - A SuperTarget opened in Odessa last year.
