Bulls too powerful for Bearcats
USF women rip Cincinnati

TAMPA - Shantia Grace had 19 points and seven rebounds, and Nalini Miller had a season-high six blocks as USF beat Cincinnati 67-49 Saturday night at the Sun Dome.
Jessica Dickson added 16 points, eight rebounds and three blocks for the Bulls (12-3, 2-0 Big East), who broke the game open with a 12-3 run early in the second half. ChiChi Okpaleke recorded her first double double of the season with 10 points and 14 rebounds, 11 defensive.
USF had 11 blocks, scored 18 off 20 turnovers and outscored the Bearcats (10-4, 1-2) 36-24 in the paint. The Bulls shot 43.3 percent (26-of-60) from the field, Cincinnati 27.5 percent (19-of-69).
BARRY 71, TAMPA 64: Alex Fernander had 18 points as the host Bucs overcame DeShaydia Mackey's 21 points for the Spartans (8-5, 1-2 Sunshine State).
LYNN 68, ECKERD 58: The host Tritons (4-9, 0-3 SSC) lost their eighth in a row despite 26 points from Largo's Gabby Gattuso.
Vols' Parker dominates
HARTFORD, Conn. - Candace Parker had been waiting for a chance to make her mark in Tennessee's storied rivalry with Connecticut.
Parker had 30 points including her sixth career dunk, 12 rebounds and six blocks to help No. 4 Tennessee hold off fifth-ranked Connecticut 70-64 at the Hartford Civic Center.
"I wanted to have a chance to dunk on Connecticut's court, and I did," the 6-foot-4 sophomore said.
She missed five of her first six shots, then got going.
"As the game went on she got better and better," Tennessee coach Pat Summitt said of her star. "She stepped up big for us."
Sidney Spencer added 14 points for the Vols (14-1). Charde Houston scored 23 to lead Connecticut (12-1).
NO. 1 MARYLAND 97, NO. 19 MICH. ST. 57: Crystal Langhorne scored 28 on 13-for-14 shooting, Kristi Toliver made four 3-pointers and the host Terrapins (17-0) snapped a five-game win streak by the Spartans (12-3).
NO. 7 OHIO ST. 53, KENTUCKY 51: Marscilla Packer's jumper with 16 seconds left lifted the host Buckeyes (13-1). The Wildcats' Samantha Mahoney put up a shot under the basket with a second left that was deflected by center Jessica Davenport and sailed over the rim.
NO. 8 OKLAHOMA 77, NEBRASKA 69: Courtney Paris shook off early foul trouble to score 19 and Kendra Moore had a career-high 18 as the visiting Sooners (12-1, 2-0) rallied to win their 21st straight Big 12 game.
NO. 9 BAYLOR 71, KANSAS 64: Hernando High's Bernice Mosley had 21 points and 11 rebounds, and the visiting Bears (15-1, 2-0 Big 12) overcame a scare to win their 12th straight.
NO. 12 STANFORD 69, NO. 21 CAL 44: Candice Wiggins made a season-high six 3-pointers and finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, and the visiting Cardinal (11-3, 5-0 Pac-10) won its ninth in a row and beat the Golden Bears (11-4, 2-3) for the 14th straight time.
NO. 13 LOUISVILLE 88, SETON HALL 67: Angel McCoughtry had 21 points, nine rebounds and seven steals for the host Cardinals (16-1, 1-1 Big East), who trailed once and took control with a 10-2 run in the first half.
KANSAS ST. 48, NO. 17 TEXAS A&M 45: Claire Coggins scored 20 to become the 32nd Wildcats player with 1,000 career points, and the Aggies (10-3, 0-1 Big 12) dropped to 0-3 on the road.
NO. 18 MARQUETTE 82, NO. 23 DEPaul 79: Sophomore Krystal Ellis scored 29, including four free throws in the final 32.5 seconds, as the visiting Golden Eagles (15-2, 3-0 Big East) held off the Blue Demons (11-4, 1-1) to win their 14th straight.
RUTGERS 63, NO. 22 PITT 39: Kia Vaughn scored 12 of her 16 in the final 10 minutes and the Scarlet Knights closed with a 25-4 run to put away the Panthers (12-2, 0-1 Big East).
NO. 24 BOWLING GREEN 75, BUFFALO 42: Ali Mann scored 24 and Megan Thorburn added 21 points and seven rebounds for the host Falcons (12-2, 2-0 Mid-American).
