Middle school mystery workshop Fox Chapel Middle School has a workshop for parents and students in fourth through eighth grades. Watch and take part in the mock filming of a movie called Mysteries in the Middle. Through reading strategy rehearsals on a sound stage participants will discover clues about the mysterious disappearance of a middle school's mascot. It's Feb. 1 and starts with a free dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the workshop through 8:30 p.m. Free child care for ages 3 through 8. Call 797-7070, ext. 435. Final Chocachatti orientation The final orientation meeting for those interested in attending Chocachatti Elementary next year will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the school's cafeteria.
