Largo senior linebacker Greg Harvey has orally committed to play for Florida A&M. And, from what Harvey was told by FAMU coaches, he may play right away. Harvey, the Packers' leading tackler 78 last season, was a Times' all-county second-team selection. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound star said he will play free safety for the Rattlers, which finished 7-4 last season. "The coaches told me I'm right in the lineup in the starting position already," Harvey said. "I'm excited." Harvey transferred from Seminole for his senior year so he could play with his younger brother, star junior fullback Brynn Harvey, who was the Times' 2006 Player of the Year. "Greg's a great run tackler and run stopper - and he can cover, too" Largo coach Rick Rodriguez said. "He brings the total package."
