Florida can improve to 3-0 in the conference for the fifth time in six years. The Gators lead the nation in field-goal percentage (53.9). ... Florida has won three of the previous four meetings in South Carolina, but the Gamecocks defeated the Gators twice in the regular season last year. ... The Gamecocks, two-time defending NIT champions, are 7-2 at home, making this game a challenge for the Gators. South Carolina is limiting opponents to 63.1 points per game. Florida is on an eight-game winning streak.
