Inflator air pumps Company: Sportsstuff Inc. Why? These air pumps can overheat and explode during use. What models? 2.5 PSI pumps with model numbers 57-1504-A and 57-1504 that are used to inflate low-pressure inflatable items such as rafts and toys. Model No. 57-1504-A pump was sold separately with an assortment of inter- locking nozzles to adapt to a number of needs. Model 57-1504 pump was sold with the Sportsstuff Launch Pod, an inflatable water trampoline sold under Sportsstuff number 58-1002. The model number and the date code "0104" are on the Underwriters Laboratories label on the top of each pump. "2.5 PSI" was written on the packaging, not the air pump. Where sold? Marine distributors, mail order catalogs, sporting goods and various other stores. The Launch Pod water trampolines that included recalled pumps were sold at Sam's Club. What to do? The words "BKLYN Xpress" and "Brooklyn Xpress" and various graphic designs are embroidered on the sweatshirts, and these style numbers on a sewn-in tag: BXFL72B, BXFL73B, BXFL74B, BXFL75B, BXFL77B or BXFL80B. Where sold? Clothing stores, including Ross and Gordman's. What to do? Remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts or return the garment to the store for help removing the drawstring.
