'OPUS' tells tale of teacher's true success

The Hernando County Public Library System will show the movie Mr. Holland's Opus at 2 p.m. Thursday at the West Hernando/Staffordene T. Foggia Branch Library, 6335 Blackbird Ave. After feeling his life has been a failure, a talented music teacher (Richard Dreyfuss) who dreamed of being a composer learns the true meaning of a man's success through the students he has inspired for 30 years. The movie is rated PG and runs 145 minutes. There is no cost to attend and no registration required. Light refreshments will be provided. For information, call 540-6391.
