Wednesday: The Beverly Hills Recreation Association will sponsor a Sterling gambling cruise, the bus departs from the hall at 6:30 a.m., 77 Civic Circle, Beverly Hills. Saturday: The Germania Florida club plans a seven-night cruise to the Western Caribbean abroad the luxury liner Costa Magica out of Fort Lauderdale with stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Grand Turks. April 29 (deadline Jan. 29): The West Citrus Elks of Homosassa will sponsor a seven day cruise to the Western Caribbean departing from Tampa on the Carnival Legend. You will visit Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Costa Maya, Mexico. Stateroom rates are: inside 4A $715, outside $825, outside balcony $955, prices honored until Oct. 18; includes: port fees and taxes, round trip motor coach transportation to and from the ship, all tips for baggage handlers and bus drivers, an on board private cocktail party, $75 per stateroom onboard credit, one bottle white wine per stateroom, and a Bon Voyage Party. Feb. 5-10: The Stepping Out Ministry of First United Methodist Church of Inverness will host a cruise on Carnival's Celebration to Key West and Nassau in the Bahamas out of Jacksonville. Feb. 28: The West Citrus Elks Lodge 2693 will sponsor a tour on the Sterling Casino cruise ship that features all types of gambling tables, 1500 slots and Las Vegas style entertainment. A free, private all day buffet will be available for the people on this Elks tour. The bus will depart from the lodge parking lot at 7:30 a.m. and return about 7:30 p.m., 7890 W Grover Cleveland Blvd., Homosassa. Tickets ($22) can be purchased at the lodge office from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. No refunds after Feb. 21. A valid picture ID is required to board the ship.
