Sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said Khoury is a convicted cocaine trafficker with dual U.S. and Israeli citizenship who is known to supply street-level drug dealers in the area. Khoury was held at the Land O'Lakes jail Monday in lieu of $20,500 bail.

The parents of a girl injured during cheerleading tryouts at Land O'Lakes High School in 2003 are suing the Pasco County School District. As a result, the lawsuit says, no one was there to break the girl's fall, and she has suffered permanent physical injury, pain and suffering and loss of earning capacity. The family seeks damages of more than $15,000.
