MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL BATTERY ON CHILD A 29-year-old Tampa man was jailed Wednesday, accused of forcing a 6-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him. Ebaristo Medina of 7022 Oyster Bay Drive is charged with capital sexual battery and battery on a child with exposure. Medina, who lists his occupation as a laborer for a roofing company, forced himself on the child several times between Sept. 1 and Nov. 30 when the child was left in his care, sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. He is being held without bond at Orient Road Jail. Seventh-grader hit crossing street A 12-year-old Davidsen Middle School seventh-grader was in serious condition after she was hit by a car while crossing a street Wednesday. Nicole Davis of 9815 Bayboro Bridge Drive was walking with two friends at Montague Street and W Linebaugh Avenue at 4:30 p.m. when her buddies ran south across Linebaugh. sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said. Davis ran after them, but was hit by a westbound 2004 Hyundai driven by Martita Marquez-Stone, 38, of 12108 Balmoral View Court. Davis was listed in serious condition at St. Joseph's Hospital late Wednesday. Times staff
