Clarissa is a 2-year-old female flame point white with orange points Siamese. Blueberry is an 18-month-old male gray and white Siamese lynx point mix.

Home at Last Pet Adoptions Inc. is an all-volunteer rescue group dedicated to saving animals, predominantly cats, facing death at local shelters. There were five adoptions from Jan. 17 to 23.

Animals are evaluated for temperament and health. When ready for adoption, they are neutered and given age-appropriate shots, treated for fleas, wormed, tested for feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus, and microchipped. Animals are seen by appointment or at occasional special adoption events. There is a set donation fee for each pet. Call 476-6832 or e-mail halpetadoptions@yahoo.com for details.
