First United Methodist Church, 13123 U.S. 19, will celebrate Ash Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 21. The Rev. Richard C. Schmidt, senior minister, will bring a mediation preceding Communion. St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 7922 State Road 52, presents Paul Saik in concert at 3 p.m. March 3. The Christian recording artist will perform various styles of music from Broadway to opera. Grace Community Church, meeting at Kids R Kids in Meadow Point, 1540 Mansfield Blvd., is organizing a joint food drive in the days leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. Members are joining forces with more than 17,000 communities, schools and faith-based organizations to participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring. This is youth led and is designed to fight hunger and poverty in local communities. The PTA of Wesley Chapel Elementary School will accept cans of soup and nonperishable food at the school, 30243 Wells Road, through Feb. 2. The youth of Grace Community will have a carwash from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at the church's meeting place. All proceeds will benefit the Pasco County Food Bank.
