Looking back: More than a third of last year's 28-member class didn't make it to fall practice, with nine signees failing to qualify and two quitting the team. Three have since qualified and enrolled in January. Six true freshmen played last fall, most notably defensive tackle Aaron Harris, a starter for the second half of the season, and running back Keeley Dorsey, who collapsed and died during a weight-room workout on Jan. 17.
