What is the status of the gambling ship Casino Royale? The ship left Tampa on Jan. 16 for the Bahamas, where it will undergo several weeks of maintenance work and interior upgrades. The owners, Oceans 21 LLC, say they expect to begin offering Las Vegas-style gambling on the ship sometime this spring. Shuttles will take customers out to the ship from Treasure Island.
