George Gershwin ties together a pair of concerts in the next few days. Pianist Jeffrey Siegel features Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue in his "Keyboard Conversation" at the Palladium Theater, St. Petersburg. Siegel has made his mark with these recitals, in which he talks with the audience about the music he plays. In his Palladium program, "An American Salute," he also will cover music of Leonard Bernstein, Samuel Barber and Scott Joplin. The performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday is free, to celebrate the theater being taken over by St. Petersburg College. (727) 822-3590; www.mypalladium.org.

Keith Lockhart conducts the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra in more Gershwin on a Florida tour. Pianist Michael Chertock is the soloist in Rhapsody in Blue, and the Pops will play selections from Girl Crazy, Porgy and Bess and other works at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater. $60-$125.
