County officials are reviewing plans for a new Dunkin' Donuts just west of the city limits, near the intersection of State Road 44 and Stone Way. Members of the county's Planning and Development Review Board unanimously approved vacation of a utility easement required for the project Thursday. "It's so nice to know what's going to be there," board member Dwight Hooper said. Other board members were even more enthusiastic in their support. "When are the doughnuts going to be ready?" board member Miles Blodgett asked. A representative of the project said he did not have a detailed construction time frame yet. Plans were also recently submitted for a Dunkin' Donuts in Crystal River.
