Class 5A East Lake 18-7-0 at Palm Harbor U. (19-1-0) How they got there: PHU beat Plant 4-0 and Seminole 1-0. East Lake defeated Hillsborough 5-1 and Lakewood Ranch 3-0. Who's next: Winner of Fleming Island/Niceville Class 2A Sarasota Christian (18-0-3) at Shorecrest (14-4-3) How they got there: Sarasota Christian beat Evangelical Christian 3-1 and Tampa Prep 2-1. Shorecrest defeated Cambridge 2-0 and St. John Neumann 4-1. Who's next: Winner of St. John's Country Day/Oak Hall. Player to watch: Jennifer Casey, forward, Shorecrest. Casey has a team-high 23 goals. The skinny: Shorecrest reached the Final Four last season, knocking Sarasota Christian out along the way. This year the Chargers will host a region final for the first time in school history. Shorecrest's 3-5-2 base attack is dictated by attacking midfielder Taylor Tremaine with Erin McClenathan (16 goals) and Casey providing the punch. Kim Newton, Chelsea Rabe and Rachel Wolfson anchor a strong Shorecrest back line. Undefeated Sarasota Christian is led by goalkeeper Gabriela Garton.
