Salvation Army:  P.O. Box 564, DeLand, FL 32721. For donations and volunteers in Volusia County, call (386) 236-2020

Check out this state website for guidelines as to what kind of help responders need now: http://www.volunteerfloridadisaster.org.

Starting at 8 a.m. Saturday a toll free help number will be up and running: 1-800-FL-HELP-1 or  1-800-354-3571. The helpline can tell you how to donate clothing, supplies or money. They’ll also be able to say what kind of volunteers they need.
