Salvation Army: P.O. Box 564, DeLand, FL 32721. For donations and volunteers in Volusia County, call (386) 236-2020 Check out this state website for guidelines as to what kind of help responders need now: http://www.volunteerfloridadisaster.org.
Starting at 8 a.m. Saturday a toll free help number will be up and running: 1-800-FL-HELP-1 or 1-800-354-3571. The helpline can tell you how to donate clothing, supplies or money. They’ll also be able to say what kind of volunteers they need.

I wish that we would hear more about the victims in voluia county. the news stations are orginizing colections for the people in the lakeland area.What about the people in voulsia that want to help. we would like the chance to help our neighbors.
