Alfred McKethan Park: (Pine Island), 3-acre park on the Gulf of Mexico at 10800 Pine Island Drive (off County Road 495 west of Weeki Wachee). Includes beach and swimming area, picnic tables, shelters, barbecue grills, observation point, volleyball court, playground and concession stand. Admission: $2/car.
Amity Trails: 8.4-acre play area at 14755 Coronado Drive, Spring Hill.
Anderson Snow Park: 50-acre park at 1360 Anderson Snow Road, Spring Hill. Includes baseball, softball and T-ball fields, concession building and playground.
Bayport Park: 4140 Cortez Blvd., 1.5-acre park on the Gulf of Mexico at the end of SR 50 W. Includes picnic tables, pavilions, barbecue grills, fishing pier and two boat ramps.
Delta Woods Park: 19.8-acre park at 3400 Deltona Blvd., Spring Hill. Includes gazebo, pavilion, picnic tables and shelters, barbecue grills, volleyball, tetherball, soccer fields, shuffleboard, tennis courts, handball courts, basketball courts, horseshoes, bocce ball courts, playground and an exercise trail. No swimming allowed. Open until 10 p.m.
Ernie Wever Youth Park: 113-acre park at 19445 Youth Drive, Brooksville. Includes baseball, football, soccer and multipurpose fields, picnic shelter/tables, grills, concession stands, playground, press box and recreation building.
Hernando Park: 1.5-acre park at 205 E Fort Dade Ave., Brooksville. Includes picnic tables, grills, band shell, shuffleboard, tennis courts, playground and community building. Open until 11 p.m.
Hernando Veterans Memorial Park: 21.5-acre park at 12254 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill. Includes multi-purpose fields, baseball and softball field, playground, tot lot, concession stand, exercise trail, picnic tables and shelters.
Hill N' Dale Community Park: 10-acre park at 6460 Boxwood St., east of Brooksville. Includes playground and tot lot, walking/nature trails, basketball and tennis courts, baseball/softball field, picnic shelters and grills, pavilions and gazebos.
J. Earl and Francis Miller Memorial Gardens: 2-acre picnic grounds at 34378 Orchid Parkway, Ridge Manor.
Jenkins Creek Park: 6401 Shoal Line Blvd., Spring Hill, 1-acre park with boat launch (small boat or canoes only), fishing pier, grill and picnic tables.
Kennedy Park: 25-acre park at 1000 Kennedy Blvd., Brooksville, includes shelters, picnic tables, grills, volleyball, baseball fields, basketball courts, playground, concession stand and recreation building.
Lake Townsen Regional Park: 375-acre park at 28011 Lake Lindsay Road (CR 476), Brooksville. Includes baseball field, hiking trail, horseback riding trail, fishing pier, boat ramp, barbecue grills, basketball court, volleyball court, horseshoes, picnic area, playground and shelter.
Linda Pedersen Park: 135-acre park at 6400 Shoal Line Blvd. (across from Jenkins Creek Park), Hernando Beach. Includes grills, picnic tables, swimming area, playground, community building, fishing pier, showers and a 40-foot observation tower.
Little Red Schoolhouse: 3-acre baseball field at 1208 Kenlake Ave., Spring Hill.
Lonnie Coburn Park: 4-acre park at 19340 Oliver St. (off U.S. 41), Brooksville. Includes pavilion, picnic tables, volleyball, barbecue pit and grills.
Nobleton Wayside Park: 2-acre park at 29061 Lamkin Drive (off CR 476), has a shelter, basketball, picnic tables and boat ramp.
Pioneer Park: 7-acre park at 6799 Pinehurst Drive, Spring Hill. Includes skateboard park, basketball court, picnic tables, horseshoe courts and a playground.
Withlacoochee Bicentennial Hall: 16257 Lingle Road, Istachatta, has a community building, shuffleboard courts, basketball and a playground.
