You still have about two weeks to apply for one of the $20,000 scholarships that KFC is giving away to 50 graduating high school seniors around the country. The KFC Colonel's Scholars program honors students who share the Colonel's entrepreneurial spirit and need help to afford college. The $20,000 scholarship is given over the course of four years. Last year, St. Petersburg High School International Baccalaureate Program 2006 graduate Kanita Beba was named one of the Colonel's Scholars. To apply by Feb. 16, go to www.kfcscholars.org for rules and qualifications.

Many teens and little kids do not eat with their parents, they are more likely to go watch tv in their room while eating. Sitting with adults might get boring.

It is really surprising to see that so many families share meals togeather this supports conversation, Love and strength dinner is served in our home between 5:00 & 6:00 and on Sundays approximately 3:00 where we are joined by my adult siblings

I am glad to see that many children are eating with their parents at the table. In our home it is required that we are at the dinner table at 6pm. NO EXCUSES. Sometimes we simply eat together but much more often we talk to each other about the day.

I dont think that the results of this research is correct. i think that most children 8 to 17 dont eat that much at the table with their parents. Many children eat in there room and watch television. It surprises me that the percentage is so high.
