You still have about two weeks to apply for one of the $20,000 scholarships that KFC is giving away to 50 graduating high school seniors around the country. The KFC Colonel's Scholars program honors students who share the Colonel's entrepreneurial spirit and need help to afford college. The $20,000 scholarship is given over the course of four years. Last year, St. Petersburg High School International Baccalaureate Program 2006 graduate Kanita Beba was named one of the Colonel's Scholars. To apply by Feb. 16, go to www.kfcscholars.org for rules and qualifications.
