Show at Elks lodge to flash back to '50s

BROOKSVILLE

The Goodtimes Oldies Revue Rockin' '50s Show will be presented from 2 to 4 p.m. March 4 at Brooksville Elks Lodge 2582, 14494 Cortez Blvd.

The show will star Tommy Russo, John Timpanelli and the Tin Pan Alley Players.

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., with open seating. A cash bar will be available.

Tickets purchased before Sunday are $13 for Elks members and $15 for nonmembers; tickets after that are $15 for all and can be purchased at the door. Reservations are available for a limited number of ringside tables of six.

LaSertoma Club plans luncheon with fashion

The LaSertoma Club of Hernando County will host its annual Fashion, Food and Fun Luncheon fashion show Feb. 24 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 10470 Spring Hill Drive.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Fashions will be presented by Vickie's Consignments of Spring Hill. Lunch will include chicken cordon bleu, potatoes, green beans, fruit salad, dessert and beverage. Door prizes will be awarded.

Senior citizens to host country dance Feb. 17

Hernando County Council No. 1 Senior Citizens will host a country dance at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at the facility, 8187 Fort Dade Ave.

Admission is $5. All ages are invited.

The Nature Coast Tennis Foundation will host its second annual Junior Invitational Tennis Tournament from Feb. 17-18 at the tennis courts at Delta Woods Park, 3400 Deltona Blvd.

The Adult and Community Education Department at Nature Coast Technical High School has openings in adult education classes, including basic drawing, home improvement and repairs, pine needle baskets, pottery, quilting, sewing, watercolor painting, woodworking, graphic design using Corel Draw, digital photography using Photoshop Elements, Office Suite of Products, dance exercise, Pilates, yoga, cake decorating, Asian cooking, grant writing, sign language and conversational Spanish.
