A man who police said entered into a sex pact with his girlfriend and her 15-year-old daughter pleaded no contest to felony sex charges. Michael J. Fitzgibbon, 37, also pleaded no contest to more serious sex charges involving sex acts with a 12-year-old girl, a relative. Authorities say Fitzgibbon's girlfriend was afraid of losing him while she recuperated from gastric bypass surgery, so she arranged for him to have sex with her daughter for two months. All three of them allegedly signed a contract that allowed the girl privileges such as piercings and hair dye in exchange for the sex acts. The girlfriend, whose name is not being made public to protect her daughter's identity, is to stand trial in February on three counts of criminal sexual conduct.
BOSTON - Feds release audio about JFK Jr.'s plane Almost eight years after John F. Kennedy Jr. died in a plane crash, federal officials on Tuesday released an audio clip of an airport intern and an FAA dispatcher discussing the missing plane. The audio clip of the conversation between Adam Budd, a 21-year-old college student employed at Martha's Vineyard Airport, and the FAA's Automated Flight Service Station in Bridgeport, Conn., was released by the Department of Transportation after a federal Freedom of Information Act request. Budd is heard speaking in a hushed tone as he asks if the FAA can track Kennedy's plane. When the operator won't give the information over the phone, Budd backs off. "Okay, well, if it's too much trouble, it's ... not a big deal," he says. Kennedy, 38, was flying with his wife, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, 33, and his sister-in-law, Lauren Bessette, 34, when his Piper Saratoga plane crashed. All three were killed.
