PHCC hosting program to help children with dental care

Pasco-Hernando Community College will host the American Dental Association's annual Give Kids a Smile Day on Friday.

PHCC dental hygiene students and representatives of the West Pasco Dental Association and the Pasco-Hernando Dental Hygienists' Association will provide examinations, radiographs, cleaning and fluoride to school age children from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. at the college's health occupations building, Room M-144, on the New Port Richey campus.

These children will then be scheduled for dental work on Give Kids a Smile Day on the following Friday, Feb. 16, at the same times and location. For information, call Lynn Rothman at (727) 816-3448.
