The latest development: Starling Water

LOCATION: Off Fishhawk Boulevard between Osprey Ridge Road and Fishhawk Crossing Boulevard, FishHawk Ranch, Lithia

DEVELOPER: Newland Communities.

DESCRIPTION: More than 160 single-family homes ranging from 2,144 to 3,402 square feet. Floor plans will include three bedrooms with two or 2 1/2 bathrooms or four bedrooms with two, 2 1/2, or three bathrooms.

PRICE: $299,990 to $409,990 base price.

AMENITIES: Three-car garage optional on some homes; interior architectural features will include niches, vaulted ceilings, transom windows, arches, columns, plant ledges and rounded corners; in-wall pest control system; plumbed for water softener; wired for high-speed Internet access; vaulted lanais; automatic lawn sprinklers.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "Starling Water is going to be unique in that [builder] Cardel Homes is offering nine different floor plans within one community, although it's still under one quality builder," said FishHawk Ranch Marketing Manager Dawn Turner. "This is the first time in [about] two years inside FishHawk that we've got this kind of product available at this price point."

TIMELINE: Construction started in September 2006 and will end in one to two years. Model homes are scheduled to be completed in August.

Thats why I moved out in 1991, this town went to county comm. greed. Have fun in the constant traffic jam!!!

When do they start widening FishHawk Blvd????? The traffic will be on the existing roads before the first sholve of dirt is turned.
