AARP driver safety program

The following is a list of AARP Driver Safety Program classes, which are composed of two four-hour sessions, both of which must be taken. There is a fee of $10. Many insurance companies offer a discount on car insurance for customers completing these classes. Registration is suggested up to two weeks before class but is required at least three days prior to class. No walk-ins. Classes with insufficient number of students (15) will be cancelled. Call the instructor listed after 9 a.m. For information on future classes, call Charles Lucente, 726-0753. - Feb. 14-15: 9 a.m., Hernando Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1880 N. Trucks Ave., Hernando. Call Don Slough, 344-4003. -Feb. 20-21: 9 a.m., Inverness Elks Lodge, 3580 Lemon St., Hernando. Call Bob Dicker, 527-2366.
