GULFPORT -- The Salerno Theater Company is bringing back the popular production of Jekyll and Hyde: the Musical.

The tale of the battle between good and evil is based on the Robert Louis Stevenson story about a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart. Convinced that the cure to his father's mental illness lies in the separation of man's evil nature from his good, Dr. Henry Jekyll unwittingly unleashes his own dark side in the streets of 19th century London as the maniacal Edward Hyde.

The score includes the songs This Is the Moment and Someone Like You.

The Salerno Theater Company is the company in residence at the Catherine Hickman Theater, in Gulfport, but travels throughout the state.

good show...not great, but emma was perfect. lucy's voice was out of control but good at soft parts...Jekyll was ok...not the strongest voice. the "Confrontation" was not great. Utterson character was changed a bit, not sure if i liked that.
