Church to offer Lenten series on heroic Pastor

Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church invites the community to a Lenten video series on the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German pastor who defied Adolf Hitler. The six-part series, "The Cost of Discipleship," will begin at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at the church, 8505 113th St., Seminole. It will continue Wednesdays until March 28.

Northside Baptist names 2 staffers

Northside Baptist Church has appointed Devalin Drennon as its new relationship pastor. He will help church members establish relationships with each other.

Kerm Carlberg is the new outreach pastor. He will lead outreach ministries both locally and overseas, and oversee the benevolence ministry and thrift store.
