Army Pvt. Christopher M. Buckley, son of Susan Buckley of St. Petersburg and Robert Vogel of Largo, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, near Lawton, Okla.

Army Pvt. Jeffrey E. Dunn, son of Patrica Dunn of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Knox, Ky.

Air Force 2nd Lt. Jarett W. Hess, son of Gayle L. Welch of Tierra Verde and William Hess of Largo, recently reported for duty at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. He is an air battle manager with the 552nd Training Squadron. He is a 2001 graduate of Seminole High School and a 2005 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo.

These recruits have graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.:

Army National Guard Pvt. Michael B. Scioneaux, son of Christine Carter of Seminole.

Army Pfc. Indya S. Blocker, daughter of Harolynn Pittman of St. Petersburg and a 2003 graduate of St. Petersburg High School.
