Valentine's Day events

Here are some events taking place on Valentine's Day. 

1980s Prom: When's the last time you asked your Valentine, "Do you want to go to the prom with me?" It's at 10 p.m. at The Crowbar, 1812 17th St. in Ybor City and you can even sign up to win prom king and queen, how gnarly is that? Formal but funny dress is encouraged to make the '80s vibe authentic. Cover is $8 for singles, $10 for couples.

Wild at Heart: A zoo party for adults only, this look at the mating habits of animals features romantic refreshments and dinner for the humans at 6 p.m., Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa. $50 per person (reservations required). Call (813) 935-8552, ext. 239.

Valentine's Blues Bash with Shirley Brown, Marvin Sease, Theodis Ealey, Latimore, Bobby Rush, Mel Waiters, Bobby Blue Band and Sir Charles Jones, 8 p.m., St. Pete Times Forum, Tampa. $44.25-$51.25.

Urban Cowboy, the Musical The national tour will have performances at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Largo Cultural Center. $15-$32.

Celtic Woman The Irish vocalists and PBS darlings will be at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa at 7:30 p.m.; $38.50-$68.

Joe Bonamassa: The young bluesman has been playing guitar since he was 4. Now in his late 20s, he puts on a rowdy show at 8 p.m., Ferguson Hall, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. $17.50-$25.50.

Huey Lewis and the News Still hip, or now square? You decide at the show at 8 p.m., Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater; $42.50-$75.
