LOCATION: 10232 Avelar Ridge Drive, off U.S. 301 a half mile north of Big Bend Road in Riverview. DEVELOPER: Morrison Homes. DESCRIPTION: 148 townhouses and 533 single-family homes. The townhouses will have three bedrooms with 2 1/2 bathrooms and will range from 1,527 to 1,791 square feet. The single-family houses will have three bedrooms with two bathrooms, or four bedrooms with two or 2 1/2 bathrooms. They will range from 1,863 to 2,553 square feet. PRICE: Homes $220,000 to the low $320,000s; townhouses $180,000s to the $220,000s. AMENITIES: High ceilings, lanais, optional stainless-steel appliances, Roman bathtub and separate shower stall, pool with cabana and clubhouse, and three-car garages with some homes. WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "Avelar Creek will only have Morrsion Homes as a developer," said sales manager Kristina Lloyd. "So you're going to have a nice consistency in architecture and home styles throughout the community." TIMELINE: Construction of phase two, Avelar Creek North, started in December and is scheduled to end in two to three years. The first phase, Avelar Creek South, started at the end of 2005 is about 70 percent complete. MOVE-IN DATE: First residents arrived in September.
