TAMPA - Berkeley Prep had four players score in double figures and knocked down 12 3-pointers to rout Cardinal Mooney 83-43. The Bucs (22-6) shot 57 percent (12-for-21) from behind the arc and got scoring from nine of 12 players. "That's what makes this team successful; they're very unselfish," Berkeley Prep coach Bobby Reinhart said. "Nobody cares who gets the shots or the credit." Berkeley Prep led just 16-14 early in the second quarter but went on a 21-2 run to take control and go into halftime 44-28. The Bucs continued building the lead in the third and fourth quarters until a running clock was enforced with 4:02 left and Berkeley Prep up 36 points. Sophomore guard Austin Suarez nailed four 3s and led Berkeley Prep with 22 points. Zak Kazanski (19 points), Archie Barnes (12) and Johnathan Gray (12) also reached double digits. "We're so balanced ," Gray said. "We have five guys that can put the ball in the hoop every single time down the court." Tyler Samuels had a team-high 14 points for Cardinal Mooney (11-16) and Jeremy Tellor had 13. "We seem to be peaking at the right time, but we have a long way to go," Gray said.
