EUSTIS - For more than one quarter, Josh Ortiz and Chris Bossio did a pretty good job of helping Nature Coast hang with Eustis on Thursday. Ortiz and Bossio combined for all 20 of the Sharks' points in the first half. With 5:21 remaining in the second quarter, Nature Coast (20-7) only trailed 20-18. Then Eustis turned up the defensive pressure and, in a matter of minutes, took control. The Panthers (21-7) went on a 13-2 run over the final 5:21 of the first half, pulling away for a 70-47 victory. "We knew going into the game if they were going to press us, we were going to have problems," Sharks coach Travis Priddy said. "We don't have the kind of athletes like they have in our area." Ortiz finished with 17 points and Bossio had 14. Orlando Sentinel
