Beverly Hills Community, 88 Civic Circle: The church food pantry will distribute food from 11 a.m. to noon and 6 to 7 p.m. the last Tuesday of each month. To qualify, recipients must be a Beverly Hills resident with identification. Call 746-3620 to make a reservation. There will be an initial registration for each recipient.

Unity Church of Citrus County, 2628 Woodview Drive: Dr. Scott Olson, head of CFCC's philosophy and humanities department, and Richard Hite, master of ancient instruments, will present a two-hour workshop at 10:30 a.m. today. First Presbyterian, 1501 SE U.S. 19: Our Father's Table ministry offers a meal at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Ash Wednesday services will be at 7 p.m. Call 795-2259.

St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 9870 W Fort Island Trail: The Food Pantry offers bags of groceries from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. daily in the administration building. Call 795-2176.

Crystal River United Methodist, 4801 N Citrus Ave.: Ash Wednesday worship is at 7 p.m. with Scripture, hymns, prayer, meditation and imposition of ashes. The Churchmen Bluegrass Gospel band will be at the 9:30 and 11 a.m. service Sunday. An offering will be received at the door. Communion will be served at the 8 a.m. service. A Bible study for Lent will be at 6:30 p.m. from Feb. 28 through March 11. Call 795-3148.

DUNNELLON

Peace Lutheran, 7201 S U.S. 41: A light supper will be served at 6 p.m. followed by a Lenten service at 7 p.m. Wednesdays through March 28. The church will host its 16th annual Potato Pancake Supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Donations are $5 adult, $2.50 for children from 5 to 12 and free to children under age 5. HOMOSASSA SPRINGS

Faith Baptist, 6918 S Spartan Ave.: The annual missions conference concludes Sunday. Larry Bishop, missionary at large serving through Rural Home Missionary Association, is the keynote speaker. Missionaries from Africa and Portugal will also speak. Cornerstone Baptist, 1005 Hillside Court: There will be a special service open to the public at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the Citrus High School auditorium to celebrate the church's fourth anniversary. St. Margaret Episcopal Church, 114 N Osceola Ave.: The food pantry is open 9:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Feed My Sheep provides a hot meal for the needy at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The men's club will serve a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Parish Hall. The cost is $3 adult, $2 for children, 12 and younger eat free. First Presbyterian Church, 206 Washington Ave.: The Mattox family will host a hayride, campfire and potluck at their ranch at 3 p.m. today. There will be a breakfast at 9, Communion services at 9:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., and a dinner at 6 p.m. Ash Wednesday. Reservations are required for the dinner. LECANTO

Crosspoints airs on WYKE-TV Ch. 47 (channel 16 on cable) at 7 a.m. Sunday and is repeated at 9:30 p.m. Monday and 12:30 p.m. Wednesday with host Suzanne Koerner. This week's guest is Ryan Seader, a soldier recently returned from an assignment in Iraq. Seader's mother, Mary, will tell why she actively supports the military's service.
