BROOKSVILLE

The Biker Church will meet from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Marine Corps League, Detachment 708, 8405 Sunshine Grove Road. Come early for the breakfast buffet. The guest speaker will be Dick Bean, who, with his wife Linda, has been ministering to bikers in Hernando and Pasco counties and upstate New York for many years. Call Buzz at 799-1165.

Brooksville Wesleyan Church, 8168 Jasmine Drive, will have its Pioneer Kid's Club from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday. There will be games, a "bouncy" and make-your-own sundaes for children 4 years old through sixth grade. Call 799-3066.

HUDSON

St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 7922 State Road 52, will begin Lenten services with the celebration of Ash Wednesday at 7 p.m., with the imposition of ashes. Pastor Gruebel will deliver the message, "Why Bother?" and there will be special scripture and music during this service of reflection, penance and acceptance. Lenten services will be held at 7 p.m. each Tuesday through March 27, featuring guest speakers who will discuss the theme "Who is Jesus?" The programs will follow the format of an old-fashioned prayer meeting.

The church will continue its "I'm A Christian - But How Did I Get Here?" lecture series at 2 and 7 p.m. each Monday in the Music/Lecture Hall of the Family Life Center. Pastor Whitledge will talk about how the Christian church developed from its New Testament roots. Each Monday will feature a different lecture. Everyone is welcome. Call (727) 862-5846.

SPRING HILL

Faith Baptist Church, 175 Springtime St., will have Dr. Al Reichman as guest speaker at 9:30 and 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 25. Reichman, who comes from a long line of orthodox rabbis, will speak about the Jews in history, Biblical prophecy and present world conditions. Call 686-5060.

Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, 8555 Forest Oaks Blvd., will begin the Lenten season on Ash Wednesday, with worship services at 3 and 7 p.m., followed by the annual "Share a Dish" meal at 5:30 p.m. Call 683-9731.

Holy Angels Church, an ecumenical Catholic community, will have a charismatic healing service at 10 a.m. Feb. 25. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Eleonora Marinaro, who will share her personal witness of healing and faith-building. Call the Rev. Patricia Zorn at 232-2702.

Northcliffe Baptist Church, 10515 Northcliffe Blvd., will have its "Road to Recovery" Christian 12-step recovery program at 7 p.m. each Friday. St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church, 8064 Weeping Willow St., will welcome a visit from Cardinal Lubomyr Husar, patriarch of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, at 11 a.m. Thursday. The church will also conduct a Lenten Mission on Feb. 26 with Stations of the Cross at 10 a.m. followed by a homily by the Rev. Lukie at 10:30, followed by refreshments. At 10 a.m. Feb. 27, the congregation will sing the Moleben service to the Mother of God, followed by a homily and refreshments. Confession will be heard during both 10 a.m. services and services and homilies will be conducted in Ukrainian and English. There will be a special collection taken. Call the Rev. Spring Hill Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 235 Cobblestone Drive, will feature a concert by the 48-member choir from God's Bible school from Cincinnati, Ohio, at 6 p.m. Feb. 24. Founded in 1900, it is one of the oldest Bible colleges in the United States. An offering will be taken.

The church also will present the gospel singing trio the Weatherfords in concert at 6 p.m. Feb. 25. The Weatherfords can be seen on many of the homecoming Gaither videos. Call 683-0587.

Spring Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2300 Osowaw Blvd., will have a consecration and communion service at 6:45 p.m. Friday in celebration of its dedication and mortgage burning. Also, on Feb. 24 there will be a Sabbath school Bible study at 9:15 a.m., and a Divine Worship service at 10:45 a.m., followed by lunch. The guest speaker will be Elder Charles E. Temple Beth David will have a congregation celebration to honor Rabbi David Levin, members, volunteers and supporters at 6 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Wellington Clubhouse at Seven Hills, 400 Wexford Blvd., off Mariner Boulevard. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. The menu will consist of salad and rolls, roast chicken, roasted red potatoes, green beans, carrots, dessert, coffee and iced tea. There also will be dance music by Fred Campbell. Tickets are $20. WEEKI WACHEE
