Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater, 2470 Nursery Road: Guadalupe Lamas, parish nurse for St. Joseph Hospital at the San Jose Mission in Dover, is the guest speaker at a program starting at 6 p.m. today. San Jose Mission is a migrant outreach center operated by Catholic Charities. Strawberry shortcake will be served, and an offering will be taken. The program is sponsored by the Pinellas Support Committee of the National Farm Workers Ministry.

Young Israel-Chabad, 3696 Fisher Road, Palm Harbor: An evening with comedian Marc Weiner is at 8:15 p.m. today. Parents have seen Weiner on Saturday Night Live, Entertainment Tonight, CBS This Morning and Good Morning America. Kids will know him from Weinerville, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, Figure It Out and Dora the Explorer, on which he is the voice of the Map and Swiper the Fox.
