College offering SAT preparation classes

St. Petersburg College is offering SAT preparation classes at several campuses, including the college's downtown and Seminole branches. Classes start Saturday and will run from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $175, which includes a textbook. For information, call 341-3184.

Scholarships open to Italian-Americans

LIADO, the Italian-American Women of Today, is accepting nominations for its 2007 scholarship program. Scholarships for $1,000 are available to those of Italian descent who are graduating high school seniors, currently attending an accredited college or adults who wish to seek a college degree. Applications are due March 31 and are online at www.liado.net. For information, call 796-4611.
