Services scheduled for father killed in I-4 shooting

NEW PORT RICHEY - Funeral services have been set for the 36-year-old Land O'Lakes man killed Sunday night in a shooting on Interstate 4 after the Daytona 500.

A wake for Eric Houk will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive (State Road 54), New Port Richey.

The funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 2348 Collier Parkway, Land O'Lakes.

Houk, who lived in Oakstead, was married with three young sons. He owned a housepainting business and coached youth soccer.

The Houk Family Assistance Fund is being established at Bank of America. Call any Bank of America branch for information on how to donate.
