Man shot in St. Petersburg home

St. Petersburg police investigate a shooting in the Northeast Park neighborhood that left a man in surgery at Bayfront Medical Center on Wednesday. Details of the shooting were unclear Wednesday night, but police said the man, whose name was not released, was shot in the upper torso in a home at 611 34th Ave. NE just after 5:45 p.m.
